Sometimes I like to think so!  Other times I feel like they commissioned me because I happened to be open and I can act as their mouthpiece.  You’d be surprised at the kind of notes and descriptions I get 9___9  I don’t think this is a unique experience for me though, lots of artists get weird ass commissioners.

ALTHOUGH, on the whole, my commissioners are beautiful, gracious and totally awesome.    I’ve been very fortunate.

  2. arythusa said: I think certain types of commissions become mouthpieces really easily!! Something about comic and animation commissions almost always feel like, “Hey! No one else is crazy enough to work with me, so can I pay you to make my weird idea??”
